The new Rittal Efficiency Label, created in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14021, is affixed to all of our cooling systems that have been proven to be environmentally friendly. These labels signify our promise that the products they are applied to have met or exceeded certifications such as DIN 3168 so you know, at a glance, that the cooling unit you’re using is not only better for your application, but for the environment as well.

Created in Conjunction with World Renowned Organisations

When Rittal set out to create a statement about the positive contributions our climate control units make towards environmental protection, we enlisted the help of respected third-party institutions with reputations for quality, reliable analyses of industrial cooling systems. All of the environmental statements were created in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Manufacturing Technologies and Automation (Fraunhofer IPA), a research organisation with offices in Europe and the US, and then verified with repeated testing by additional entities. TUV Nord and DMT GmbH conducted numerous tests according to DIN 3168 (the only standard in the world to specifically gauge the performance and efficiency of enclosure cooling units) and contamination tests with ASHRAE dust (ASHRAE standards 52.2).
